PROGRAM DETAILS

Running from June 12 - July 3, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and open to girls in grades 6-12, La Pietra's free Pathways to Purpose summer program integrates classroom-based reflection with real-world experiences. The transformative three-week program will explore diverse agricultural sites around Oʻahu, seamlessly blending interactive sessions with immersive, technology-focused learning experiences. Students attending high school in the 2024-2025 school year will receive credit for the program, which will be reported on transcripts. 
 

Immersive Learning with Industry Experts:

  • Engage in dynamic sessions with industry professionals three times a week.
  • Gain firsthand exposure to diverse perspectives and practices at community partner sites across O‘ahu.

Balanced Approach for Transformative Growth:

  • Structured weekly schedule alternating between off-site engagement and on-campus reflection at La Pietra.
  • Mondays and Fridays at La Pietra campus focus on information gathering, processing experiences, and crafting individual projects.
