On Thursday, November 18, 2021, an "almost total" lunar eclipse took place in the night sky, visible for those in Hawaii and all of North America. The rare astronomical event was the longest partial eclipse in nearly six centuries.

It was a big day for La Pietra senior Jolie Chee as she signed her National Letter of Intent on Wednesday. Chee will be heading to the University of San Francisco to play Division I golf with the Dons next fall.

As part of the Guest Artist Program, La Pietra was proud to host multimedia artist Tina Cintron this past week! While visiting from the Big Island, Cintron spent three days on campus working with students in the Mixed Media, Graphic Design, and Art History classes.
