AFFORDING TUITION

We understand that a family’s purpose for a private school education is an investment in your child’s future. La Pietra is committed to making education accessible and affordable to all families. Annually, La Pietra’s Board of Trustees reviews and determines the tuition for the upcoming school year. We are proud to be a financially stable private school with the balance of education costs covered by our endowment, fundraising and generous donations.

Tuition and incidental fees for 2024-2025 school year:

  • Tuition: $23,570
  • Technology fee: $400
  • Textbooks, estimated: $250 to $500
  • School uniform, estimated: $230 to $350

La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls is excited to extend a full tuition opportunity for students with a record of high academic achievement.

Requirements: 

  • Attended a Hawaii public or charter school in 2023-2024
  • High level of academic achievement
  • Adjusted Gross Income of $60,000 or less
  • Recommendation by current Principal or Counselor

AFFORDING LA PIETRA

Each year, approximately 60% of La Pietra's students receive tuition aid. La Pietra offers need-based financial aid as well as merit scholarships. When awarded need-based financial aid and/or merit scholarship, the family’s tuition portion is reduced and becomes affordable for all family budget. Annual, semester or 10-month payment plans make it easier to afford your child’s educational investment. Learn more about our financial aid program here. 
 

TUITION INSURANCE

We offer a Tuition Insurance which is insurance for unexpected withdrawal during the school year and helps to reduce your tuition obligations. Participation is required for semester and monthly payment plans. It is an elective option for annual payment plan. For the 2024-2025 school year, the premium is calculated at 2.75% of gross tuition less the enrollment deposit and the charge is added to your July tuition statement. Review our current TRP here.
