This year, September 12-18 is being celebrated as Small Business Week. Our alumnae and families are entrepreneurs and innovators, and we are proud these business-owners and go-getters are part of the La Pietra-Hawai’i School for Girls community!
September 9 marks opening anniversary of Hawaii School for Girls
September 9th, 2021
September 9, 2021 marks the anniversary of the opening of the Hawaii School for Girls (HSG)! An original HSG brochure says the school opened on September 9, 1964 at Central Union Church. The school was described as "a modern program of college preparatory courses," designed to prepare students for the nation's best colleges.
