Week of DEC. 13: Lady Panthers Sports Update

As we head into Winter Break, here are some updates and scores from the past week! Your winter sports season Lady Panthers and Pac-5 Wolfpack student-athletes continue to represent well.

This past Saturday, the Pac-5 Wolfpack Intermediate Swimming team dove back into the pool at Iolani School for their final regular-season ILH meet before the ILH Championships. Our LP intermediate swimmers competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 100 breaststroke events. In the 50 freestyle, Addy W. placed 8th (30.62 sec.), Louisa R. 16th (32.81 sec.), and Maila S. 29th (37.72 sec.). In the 100, freestyle Maila had a time of 1:27.19 sec. In the 100 Breaststroke, Addy placed 13th place in the event with a time of 1:31.89 sec. and Louisa followed in 18th place overall with a time of 1:36.17. Congratulations to all three swimmers!

The Pac-5 Junior Varsity Soccer team took the field for their final game of the ILH season this past Saturday with a rematch against the Punahou JV Gold team at Waipio Soccer Complex. Although the final score was a 6-0 loss, the team competed without seven starters who were moved up to the Varsity team earlier in the week. Congratulations to LP team members Katie C., Elyssa A., and Sadie G. on a great season!
