Alvin and the Chipmunks make an appearance at La Pietra!

Happy Halloween, Panthers! From creative groups like Alvin and the Chipmunks to beautifully handmade costumes like Belle in her iconic gown from Beauty and the Beast, our La Pietra students always inspire us with their imaginative Halloween outfits. While the costume contest was a hit as it is every year, other spooky festivities included an obstacle course, pumpkin rolling, and even a donut eating contest. Congrats to eighth-grader Leilani S. on being the first to eat that entire donut!

Right before the dance competition was set to take place, members of La Pietra's faculty and staff surprised the student body with a "Thriller" flash mob – grooving their way out of the audience and up onto the stage where they brought the undead to life through dance! Who knew they had moves like that?!

Congratulations to the 7th grade who won the Middle School Dance Competition and the Middle School Obstacle Course Race! Way to go! And a job well done to the 11th graders took home the win in the High School Dance Competition, and of course to our seniors, who beat out the rest in the High School Obstacle Course Race.
