Tommianne Brockert '18 was born and raised on Oahu. She is currently a Psychology major with a minor in Business Administration at Chaminade University, and she recently spent a semester in France through the university's study abroad program. Although she had taken French while in high school at La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls, living and speaking the language in a new country brought its own unique learning curve. And her travels didn't stop there – another program even brought her studies to Nashville.
