Dayna Nakagawa '22
Dayna Nakagawa is a proud graduate of La Pietra's Class of 2022. She currently attends Creighton University and is studying Exercise Science in hopes of pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. Additionally, she teaches weekly yoga classes at Creighton's Keiwitt Fitness Center and is working towards her 200 hour RYT training.
La Pietra’s Flow to Grow yoga series is back this summer with classes taking place every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. from June 7 – July 12, 2023. Breathe, stretch, and strengthen your body and mind while overlooking the school’s picturesque Great Lawn during the six-class fundraiser event. Each class is one hour in length and all levels are welcome.
This summer, Dayna will be leading La Pietra’s Flow to Grow yoga series every Wednesday from June 7 – July 12, 2023. She found her passion for yoga as a sophomore during a P.E. class at La Pietra and has strived to share her love for the practice ever since. Thanks to her donated time, all funds raised through Flow to Grow will go directly to La Pietra's financial aid program, and in turn, to a student receiving need-based aid.
Class President Dayna Nakagawa and Valedictorian Victoria Hung talk about their ambitions and next chapters after graduation.
